What happen to Mr. O's hope and change?

8 year later after Mr. O was elected president, I hate to say that he is a bad of a leader as I predicted he would be.  US position in the world is the weakest in over a few decades.  The country is angry and afraid.  Those emotions prompt people to go to the extreme.  That disappointment when you crush people's hope, prompted people to start looking at a TV personality as a possible president of US.  Where we are here today is because of president Obama.  A president has limited powers, but for the power he or she does have it is critical he execute with no bias and with commitment.  One power he or she holds is a leader of a nation and as a representative of this great nation.  Mr. O made US weak.  I know this because I live abroad and if you are to ever start looking around and take note of the change, the position of US in the world has dropped considerably.  We have a nation of no stance and lack of position.  There is a lot I can say about this, but Mr. O is not existence to improve our foreign presence as a nation and he puts many American abroad in danger.  Yes he started it because no country now actually believes our president can stand up for anything.  A lot of air, but not a lot of action.  Materialize that hope and change that got him elected.  Where is it?

Racial divide and political divide.  I think it has gotten a lot worse.  I have never seen a leader who promote division constantly after he become president.  Isn't a leader suppose to blur the dividing lines after he gets elected?  Regardless of congress, you as a leader needs to take a higher stance and deliver.  That is why you are a leader.  If not, then really perhaps more training and experience needed before you start on the playing people's emotions.  There is so much about this.  But the cause and effect of this I see is that with Mr. T and Mr. O, both have the same emotional manipulation they inflict on the people of US.  Either emotion of over optimistic (hope and change) or emotion of fear (blame and change), it doesn't matter unless you can deliver and you are mature enough to be a leader.  Mr. T is fueling the failure of Mr. O to get what he is today.  It is sad that the American citizens cannot see this.  I do not know who the next president will be, but this election is critical.  We have about 12 years to catch up to.  Yes both republican and democratic president messed up big for the UNITED STATES.  We have lost the united part and have been building up the dividing lines.

There is some much I like to say about race in US.  But one thing I would like to say is to stop talking about it.  Yes it is counter intuitive, but to put it simply those who need to change does not change by you telling them they need to change.  You teach by starting to show something about yourself and negative response is not they way you teach people.  Anyways I save that for later.

For now I wish US citizen will start at least one thing today.  Take away one negative comment by you to someone and add one action by you to add value to someone else.  It does not have to be big, it can start with someone small, but start now.
